About PrimaCare Medical Centers
PrimaCare Medical Centers has been serving the community since 1979. We are one of the largest urgent care networks in the Dallas metroplex. You can expect caring, courteous physicians, quality treatment and convenient friendly service. In fact, many people consider PrimaCare their main health care source.
The physicians working at the 11 PrimaCare Medical Centers are employed by PrimaMed Physicians Association. Physicians at PrimaCare practice primary care, urgent care and occupational medicine. The practitioners are trained in family practice or internal medicine and are board certified in their specialty. In addition to physicians, there are certified physician assistants and nurse practitioners who work in the center. The Clinics are staffed with a Center Medical Director and an Associate Medical Director. Additionally, other practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, lab/X-ray technicians, patient representatives and center managers staff the centers. All centers are open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM Monday through Friday and from 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday. We are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. And no appointment is necessary. We do offer Online Check-in and a Call Ahead Service for your added convenience. The physicians have a back up call system and there is always a physician on call after hours.
PrimaCare services are priced competitively compared to physician offices and are less expensive than a hospital emergency room. We accept most insurance plans, credit cards, cash or check. We have a discount program for those without health insurance and we offer the Advantage Plus Discount Card.
